Since we're celebrating the Love month, this week's Top Ten list top is all about my Fictional Crushes.

♥♥♥

A crush is simply defined as a temporary infatuation or a burning desire to be with someone who you find very attractive and extremely special.

It was around high school that I read a lot of romance books, preferably historical romances. Sure, I read Sweet Valley or any book that are for teens but I find too cheesy or too predictable. Classics and mystery books simply bore me to death; I came to appreciate them when I was in college. For a high school girl like me, who doesn't want to think about studies - and who doesn't have a boyfriend (still don't have one until now), reading a romance book is a paradise for my tired mind. XD

I often read romance nowadays. I still buy books from the romance authors that I'm familiar with (Nora Roberts, Johanna Lindsey, Barbara Cartland, etc.) and some random ones. I guess...I became a bit cynical towards love. :3

Here's the list...
  1. James Malory from Gentle Rogue by Johanna Lindsey → I was totally swept off by this green-eyed gentleman pirate when I first read Gentle Rogue. I like him until now.
  2. Warren Anderson from The Magic of You by Johanna Lindsey→ James Malory's brother-in-law and the tsundere of the Anderson family. X3
  3. Gilbert Blythe from the Anne of Green Gables series by L. M. Montgomery.
  4. MacAllister Booke from Heaven and Earth by Nora Roberts→ I like him among the men of her works (aside from Roarke). Geeky and eccentric yet sweet and well-balanced.
  5. Roarke from the In Death series by J. D. Robb → My 2nd fave male character from Nora Roberts.
  6. Carlisle Cullen from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer → Not much of a fan of Edward and Jacob, I'm afraid.
  7. Jason Fielding from Once and Always by Judith McNaught.
  8. Kyle Donovan from Jade Island by Elizabeth Lowell.
  9. Philip Quinn from Inner Harbor by Nora Roberts.
  10. Jack Ryan from the Jack Ryan series by Tom Clancy → Before he became the President of the United States, that is.
