This week's topic is on the most memorable secondary characters.
Aside from the main character, they - may she/he be good or bad - bring life to the story. Sometimes we favored them than the main character himself/herself.
1.) Claudine from St. Clare's series by Enid Blyton
She's never afraid to speak what's on her mind or do what she think is right.
2.) Severus Snape and Luna Lovegood from Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling
Pretty much the same as everyone else.
3.) Jason Rafiel from A Caribbean Mystery and Nemesis by Agatha Christie
Even in death, he still cares for his imprisoned son.
4.) Summerset from In Death series by J. D. Robb
The spats between him and Eve are always amusing, as well as the way he shows his care and concern to other.
5.) John Watson from Sherlock Holmes books by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle
Who doesn't love Sherlock's dear Boswell?
6.) Alberto Knox from Sophie's World by Jostein Gaarder
He simplified philosophy for me.
7.) John Clark (John Kelly), Scott Adler, George T. Winston from Jack Ryan/Jack Ryan Jr./John Clark series by Tom Clancy
Could have added Tony Bretano and Domingo but decided to stick with these three.
8.) Alice Cullen from the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer
One of the few characters that I like in this series.
9.) Samwise Gamgee from the Lord of the Rings trilogy by J. R. R. Tolkien
The normal one among the characters. He's the reason why Frodo managed to complete his task.
10.) Kate Wetherall from the Mysterious Benedict Society series by Trenton Lee Stewart
An optimistic girl who makes creative solutions and inventions.

I haven't read most of your picks, but I do agree that Alice is a great Cullen! HP is so full of memorable characters that it's hard to choose-Snape, Neville, Dobby....Thanks for sharing! http://wp.me/pzUn5-1EL
ReplyDeleteIt's funny how the same Harry Potter characters are so popular! They are easy to love and very memorable though.
